| Live Bright | A Kikki K Stationery Haul

The Kikki-K Leather Personal Planner in Lilac (also available in black and limited edition gold)
Hello, my name is Tegan, and I am a stationery addict. Initially, I was just after a new diary for 2015 until I came across this video. I immediately fell in love with the lilac personal planner, and soon ordered my very own. The cover is real leather, but my favourite part is the black lining on the inside, I don't know why, but I just love the contrast of the two colours together.

Inside the personal planner. As you can see I've already started decorating and reworking the interior.
The time planner may not be the most convenient diary to carry around with you all day, it's 243mm height x 205mm length x 40mm depth. However, it comes with heaps of room and features inside:
  • gorgeous, gold binder with magnetic closure
  • elastic pen loop (Kate Spade pen not included, obviously!)
  • 4 card holder slots, 2 large pockets, and 1 inner zip case
  • today notepad at the front with an A5 sized notepad at the back
  • a calander section including 18 blank monthly inserts
  • a to do list section
  • a section for meeting notes
  • 4 blank tabs with note pages
  • and three sticker sheets to help you oraganise and rework the tabs to your heart's content.

The Live Bright quote card pack.
I also bought the quote cards from the Live Bright series. It contains 12 beautiful quotes and designs, and comes with a wooden stand for you to prop up on your desk. They're also great for decorating the planner (as you can see by the front page already). To match, I also purchased the sticker book, mini sticker pack, and the diamond sticky notes.

At this point, I might have gone a little overboard with the decorating, but I did get a couple of other things: two little dishes for storing jewelry and other little bits and bobs, and last but not least, the scented candle which just happens to have a lovely inspirational quote printed on it.

I'm incredibly happy with my new time planner, although it's not the most convenient to carry around, I now have a place where I can have my calendar, to do lists, blog stuff, expenses, and fitness documents all in one place instead of everywhere else. Yup, I definitely went overboard this time, but I can't say I regret it. I also may have received 20% off (hohoho).

Have you guys spoiled  yourselves with anything this Christmas?

A New Year, A New Start

I was never really one for making goals or resolutions, in fact the last time I made a goal for myself was back in high school during one our 'goal making' classes. I just found the whole procedure very tedious, and I never took them seriously. However, five years out of school, uncertain of what I was doing, I was in desperate need of a little guidance. By guidance, I mean I found myself in a Kiki K store. Is it sad I went searching for the cure for all my problems at a stationary store? Maybe, but they do have  a great range of inspirational journals for goal making, happiness, health and dreams.

I went for the Health/Wellbeing journal because it orientates around what I want to improve on this year: fitness, diet, sleep, and routine. For someone who is goal-challenged this journal is the perfect opportunity to kick my butt into gear. It has timetables, inspirational quotes, and goal orientated questions that you can fill out on a monthly basis throughout the year.

Another addition to my new year, new start pile was Gretchen Rubin's The Happiness Project. Kiki K carry their own exclusive copy of the New York bestseller, with a super cute cover. This book is by no means a step by step guide on how to obtain a perfect life but Rubin's mix of real life stories, research and methods has really motivated me to start looking at changing the little things in my life.  A lot of things I didn't even notice made such a huge impact. Last, but not least is the little daily habits and goal pad. Just a cute little checklist that I'm hoping will help me monitor my good habits and quash the bad ones.

This is the first year I've taken my resolutions seriously. Let's see how long I can keep it up for.
